It's really a big roll, but the skin was a little rotten when I bought it for the first time, maybe it was stored for too long. But the second time I bought it, it was perfect. The meat inside is not braised pork but Chinese sausage, which is also one of the characteristics (I am used to eating braised pork). But the runbing in this store is really recommended. Remember not to go too early or too late. If you go too early, the boss hasn't prepared the ingredients yet, and if you go too late, it will be sold out by noon.

📍Xi-style Runbing 🌯Runbing Roll (Meat) $60 -Optional: Sugar-free peanut powder, mild chili, cilantro -Standard: Dried tofu, stir-fried cabbage (with a tiny bit of carrot), bean sprouts, Chinese sausage, vegetarian filling, vegetable toppings, sweet chili sauce This is a huge roll! It weighed over 430 NTD! The first bite of the cabbage really surprised me (I haven't had such delicious stir-fried cabbage in ages 🥹). It was crisp, with the natural sweetness of the cabbage, completely non-greasy, and without any raw taste! I never stir-fry cabbage in Taipei! Cabbage is so expensive…it's a lifesaver for my cabbage-loving self! I never thought the best stir-fried cabbage I'd ever had in Taipei would be in a runbing 💕 The peanut powder is freshly ground with granules, and the flavor is incredibly fragrant. I recommend the sugar-free peanut powder; the aroma of the peanut powder combined with the sweetness of the cabbage is a perfect match! The cilantro and dried tofu are very generously provided! The dried tofu was very tender and in large pieces, and there was a generous amount of cilantro (it was spread throughout the whole roll). The meat filling included Chinese sausage and regular sausage! Personally, I don't particularly like braised pork, but I love sausage. It totally hit the spot for me! The crust was the perfect thickness and easy to chew. While it wasn't as bouncy and chewy as some other brands, it didn't spoil at all during the 20-minute drive back to my dorm. P.S. People who prefer a moderate texture will probably love it (I'll definitely add one more to my list!). The cabbage was so delicious that I went back to buy it the next day! 😂 The owners even remembered me the next day (so happy!). I had it spicy on January 4th and May 8th, and not spicy on May 8th.

A spring roll enthusiast took a day off to come here specifically for this. The spring rolls are quite large (60 NTD each). The stall is small and there are no pots or pans on-site. All the ingredients are displayed separately at room temperature, looking like they've been boiled – a very light and unseasoned option. The cabbage was crisp, the tofu was thick, and the bean sprouts were very fresh. They're slightly damp when eaten fresh, so you probably can't take them home. Overall, I liked it. The owner was very friendly. It's a pity they only open until 1 PM; I probably won't have another chance to come back.

I saw a long queue at the market in Yuanshan. A roll costs $60 and you can pay with LinePay, which is very convenient. Besides the usual shredded cabbage and bean sprouts, the fillings include preserved radish, dried tofu, and a unique Chinese sausage. There's a layer of rice paper in the middle to prevent the fillings from getting soggy. The flavor is quite layered. It starts off very refreshing, even a bit bland, but then you get to the middle with the dried tofu, peanut powder, sugar powder, and sauce, which makes it a bit saltier. It's a large roll, and it's quite filling.
